Also added to this popular first timer to of India, Varanasi is the oldest and holiest city in India where we see thousands of Hindu pilgrims congregate on the banks of the Ganges River everyday at sunrise and then again at sunset.  Discover the majestic Taj Mahal of which no place in the world comes close. Seeing majestic monuments, gardens, mausoleums and forts in Rajasthan we also visit the regal palaces of the pink city, Jaipur. This capital of the state of Rajasthan (literally meaning, “land of the Rajas”) is lavish enough to rival any city in Europe. Here we see thousands of Hindu pilgrims congregate on the banks of the Ganges River in Varanasi, a once-in-a-lifetime sight. Add safari and adventure looking out for tigers at the Ranthambore National Park.

Day 01: Arrive Delhi

Namaste – Welcome to India!

On arrival in Delhi, you’ll be greeted with a warm traditional welcome—hands joined together in the Indian greeting style. We transfer to our hotel, where the rest of the day is at leisure to rest or explore at your own pace.

Day 02: Delhi

A number of Muslims are getting ready to offer Friday prayers at the New Delhi Jamma Masjid.

We begin in New Delhi with a visit to Birla House, the final residence of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by views of India Gate, Parliament House, Connaught Place and the magnificent Humayun’s Tomb*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and forerunner to the Taj Mahal. We then admire the soaring Qutb Minar*, an architectural marvel from the 12th century.

Our afternoon takes us into the heart of Old Delhi. Visit the majestic Red Fort*, built by Emperor Shah Jahan, and then take a walking tour through the bustling bazaars of Chandni Chowk. Ride past the colossal Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, and reflect at Raj Ghat, Gandhi’s cremation site.

Tonight, we gather for a Welcome Dinner. (B, D)

Day 03: Delhi/Varanasi (Flight)

A short flight brings us to Varanasi, the oldest living city in the world. After settling in, we visit Sarnath, where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after enlightenment. Witness silk weaving artistry—an age-old tradition of the region.

This evening, take a fun rickshaw ride to the Ganges River. Here, witness the captivating Ganga Aarti—a soulful, spiritual ceremony of lights, chants, and devotion.

Day 04: Varanasi/Khajuraho (Flight)

The temples are famous for their nagara-style architectural symbolism and their erotic sculptures. Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, India

We begin with a magical sunrise boat ride on the River Ganges, observing daily life and sacred rituals on its ghats. Visit the Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, and Banaras Hindu University before flying to Khajuraho—home to India’s finest temple art.

Day 05: Khajuraho/Agra (Train)

This morning, we explore the famed *Khajuraho Temples—a UNESCO site known for its stunning sculptures and sacred art. Built between 950–1050 AD, these temples reflect the pinnacle of Chandela dynasty architecture.

In the afternoon, we board the high-speed Vande Bharat Express to Agra, home of the world’s most famous love story. Dinner is served onboard.

Day 06: Agra/Fatehpur Sikri/Agra

Taj Mahal in Agra, India

Start your day with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal*—an eternal symbol of love, built in white marble by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved queen. Return for breakfast, then explore the mighty Agra Fort*, with its royal halls, palaces, and mosques.

In the afternoon, travel to the ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri*, once the Mughal capital. Though short-lived, its grandeur remains timeless with its red sandstone architecture and the exquisite Salim Chisty shrine. Evening is free for leisure. (B, D)

Day 07: Agra/Ranthambore (Drive 290 km/6 hrs)

Today we drive to Ranthambore National Park, once the royal hunting ground of Jaipur's maharajas. The park, rich in biodiversity, offers scenic lakes, ancient ruins, and the legendary Ranthambore Fort*.

In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling jungle safari, where you may spot elusive tigers, sloth bears, wild boars, and a variety of birds

Day 08: Ranthambore/Jaipur (Drive 180 km/4 hrs)

Enjoy a morning safari in hopes of catching more wildlife in action. Later, we journey to Jaipur, the royal capital of Rajasthan. This evening, delight in a traditional Rajasthani cultural performance and dinner.

Overnight: Brij Castle, Jaipur (2 nights) (B, D)

Day 09: Jaipur

This morning, ascend to the spectacular Amber Fort, known for its mirrorwork halls and sweeping views. Return to the city to visit the City Palace, residence of the former royal family.

See the stunning Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), followed by the Jantar Mantar*—an 18th-century observatory with precision instruments.

Evening is free to shop Jaipur’s vibrant markets, famed for gemstones, textiles, and handicrafts. (B, D)

Day 10: Jaipur/Pushkar (Drive 140 km/3.5 hrs)

Hawa Mahal in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India

We drive to Pushkar, a sacred town clustered around a holy lake. Visit the Brahma Temple, one of the few dedicated to the Creator God. Later, stroll through the town's charming alleys, and meet local artisans and sadhus.

Day 11: Pushkar/Udaipur (Drive 280 km/6 hrs)

Enjoy scenic landscapes as we head to Udaipur, the romantic “City of Lakes.” Set against the Aravalli hills, Udaipur’s charm lies in its ornate palaces and shimmering waters. Evening is free for lakeside walks and relaxation.

Day 12: Udaipur

Taj Lake Palace on lake Pichola in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India

Explore the opulent City Palace, perched above Lake Pichola. Admire the mosaic peacocks of Mor Chowk and the art of Bhim Vilas.

Visit Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, and the serene Saheliyon Ki Bari. Cap off the day with a peaceful boat ride on Lake Pichola, visiting Jag Mandir Palace, the royal summer retreat. (B, D)

Day 13: Udaipur/Depart Delhi (Flight)

After breakfast, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Delhi. On arrival, we enjoy a wash-and-change day room at Holiday Inn Express, Terminal 3. Enjoy a relaxing dinner before we board our homebound flight—carrying memories of majestic palaces, spiritual awakenings, vibrant bazaars, and India’s timeless charm. (B, D)

  • Ranthambore National Park remains closed from July 1 to September 30 every year. In lieu therefore the night lost at Ranthambore will be compensated with an additional night at New Delhi also on 2 meals a day plan.
  • Red Fort in Delhi will be closed between January 21 to 31.
