Every summer, over 2 million animals migrate to the Mara from the Serengeti in Tanzania. After lunch at our lodge, we embark on one of the most exciting game drives African safari trips can offer, with the opportunity to see lion, leopard, cheetah and a large variety of herbivores. More than 400 resident and migratory bird species have also been recorded here.

An adventurous day ahead as we enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the spectacular Masai Mara Game Reserve. Blessed with a permanent water supply, Masai Mara has a year-round population of plains game. All of the Big Five animals – elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino – are quite common on this scenic grassland. The Mara is actually an extension of the Serengeti and is thus home to all the animals that the Serengeti is so well known to have. An optional popular activity is an early morning balloon safari followed by champagne breakfast right in the middle of the park, giving us a birds-eye view of the vast Mara. Please contact Bestway Tours & Safaris to prebook. (B, L, D)
