Day 01: Vancouver/Frankfurt
This afternoon we are scheduled to depart Vancouver International Airport on flight LH493 at 1325 hrs for Frankfurt.
Day 02: Frankfurt/Casablanca
Arriving Frankfurt International Airport at 0820 hrs then connecting to another flight LH1330 departing at 1105 hrs, arriving Casablanca at 1335 hrs, where we are warmly welcomed and transferred to the hotel. Overnight: Barcelo Casablanca (1 night) (D)
Day 03: Casablanca/Rabat (Drive 95 kms/59 miles)
Visit of the economic capital of Morocco including the central market, the Habbous district, the Royal Palace, the Mohamed V Square, the residential area of Anfa and the exterior of Mosque Hassan II. Short drive to Rabat. City tour of Rabat including the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Oudaya kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum & Hassan tower.

Day 04: Rabat/Meknes/Fez (Drive 220 kms/136 miles)
Departure to Meknes and visit of the Ismalian Capital famous for its 40 km long walls. Visit of Bab Mansour, the royal stables and the Jewish quarter. Continue on to Fez via the Roman city of Volubilis and the holy village of Moulay Idriss.

Day 05: Fez
The whole day is devoted to tour this UNESCO World Heritage City. Visit includes the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine mosque. Afternoon visit of Fez al Jdid – new Fez. (B, D)
Day 06: Fez/Beni Mellal/Marrakesh (Drive 485 kms/300 miles)
Departure to Marrakesh passing by the Berber village of Immouzer du Kandar and Ifrane.

Day 07: Marrakesh
The entire day will be devoted to the visit of Marrakech, the second largest imperial city, known as the pearl of the south. The city was founded by the Almoravides at the end of the 11th century. The historical sightseeing includes Saadian tombs, Bahia Palace and the Koutoubia. Afternoon visit the souks and handicraft quarters displaying a variety of items and the famous place Djemaa Al Fna, with its non stop entertainment. Tonight there is an optional dinner with Fantasia show. (B, L)
Day 08: Marrakesh
Today is free at leisure to explore this magical city or take an optional excursion to visit Essaouria, which is an exceptional example of a late 18th century fortified town, built according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a North African context. Since its foundation, it has been a major international trading seaport, linking Morocco and its Saharan hinterland with Europe and the rest of the world. (B, D)
Day 09: Marrakesh/Ouarzazate (Drive 180 kms/112 miles)
Departure to Ouarzazate in the morning by 4x4, passing through Telouet to visit Kasbah of Glaoui and the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the best preserved Kasbah in Morocco and under UNESCO protection. Afternoon continue onto Ouarzazate and visit Kasbahs of Tffeltout and Taouirt as well as the famous film studios.

Day 10: Ouarzazate/Zagora (Drive 190 kms/118 miles)
This morning we depart for Taznakth, famous for its Berber carpets then continue southwards to Zagora where the road is dotted with palm groves and numerous Kasbahs. In Zagora we will be visiting the library of Tamgroute.

Day 11: Zagora/Marrakesh (Drive 370 kms/229 miles)
We head back to Marrakech through the mountains of the Anti Atlas.

Morning transfer to the airport for our departure flight LH1331 departing at 1430 hrs, arriving Frankfurt 1915 hrs. Shuttle service to the hotel.

Day 14: Frankfurt/Vancouver
Early morning take the shuttle service back to the airport for flight LH492 departing at 1020 hrs, arriving Vancouver at 1230 hrs.
