Day 01: Arrive SINGAPORE

Selmat Datai! We arrive in this world famous metropolis and are warmly greeted and transferred to our hotel. The drive from the airport is in itself the beginning of the wonderful experiences we will have with the people and culture of Singapore.
Overnight: Copthorn King’s, Singapore (2 nights)

Day 02: Singapore

Come on this trail and discover the history, culture and lifestyle of multi-racial Singapore. Stroll along the colorful streets of Little India and be dazzled by the hive of activity that permeates every nook and cranny of the area. Then visit the Esplanade, our latest multi-million dollar theatre attraction located in the Marina Bay. Drive past the Financial District of Chinatown, a place where many of our immigrant forefathers set up home. Patronize the varied and unique shops and visit the oldest Hindu Temple in Singapore, the magnificent Sri Mariamman Temple. Last stop is the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the “green lung” of our city center, and experience the calm and serenity of this 52 hectares garden. Located within the grounds of the park is the National Orchild Garden, where you can marvel at the wide variety and colors of Orchids on display. Tour includes a visit to a jewellery factory you can engage in one of Singaporeans favorite pass time – shopping or simple admire the fine designs of Singapore jewelers. (B)

Day 03: Singapore/Tampin (Train)/Malacca (Drive) (MALAYSIA)

This morning we are transferred to the railway station for an 0800 hrs departure on an interesting train ride to Tampin via Johor Bahru 2nd Link (border in between Singapore & Malaysia) without guide on board (train timings are subject to change).  After immigration and custom clearance, you will then take the Shuttle Train over from Woodlands to JB Sentral then continue onto Tampin, where you will be met by our local representative and proceed for a tour of Malacca.  People constantly flock to the birthplace of Malaysia. Its strategic location led to an economic boom, great enough to cause nations to fight for ruling rights. It is through 600 years of various European influences that gave birth to a unique heritage, customs and lifestyle of the local folks, landing it the UNESCO Heritage site recognition. Malacca was also the state where Malaysia’s declaration of Independence was held. The tour highlights St Peter’s Church, Porta De Santiago and the ruins of St Paul’s Church, Dutch Administration office, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple & Jonker Street.  After tour, transfer to hotel check-in.

Day 04: Malacca/Kuala Lumpur (Drive)

After breakfast, check-out hotel, meet at hotel lobby and continue our overland journey to Kuala Lumpur (KL).   Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur, proceed for a city tour, which includes the influential structures of KL city in one quick trip as each monument has its story to share. Admire the architectural brilliance and landscapes.  This tour will take you to the National Monument, King’s Palace, National Museum, Independence Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur City Gallery and have a snapshot at the PETRONAS Twin Towers.  After tour, transfer to hotel check-in.

Day 05: Kuala Lumpur

Today’s tour to include a visit to a Batik Factory and understand the intricacy of producing this Malaysian traditional cloth. Be enthralled with the works of nature at the Batu Caves limestone temple and the animals that inhabit it. The tour also includes a drive pass to Ambassadors Row and The Royal Selangor Pewter Factory & Visitors Centre. (B)

Day 06: Kuala Lumpur/Cameron Highlands (Drive)

Check-out and depart for Cameron Highlands.  We will begin by cruising through the green carpets of BOH plantation - the pioneer of the growers in Malaysia. Founded in 1929 by John Archibald Russell, a Scottish, this vast estate is still owned and managed by the family today. After the guided tour to the tea factory, our next visit will be the main revenue earner of the Cameron Highlands - the flower and vegetable farming. Here, one will not only see the various types of flowers and vegetables but also the methods used by the industrious local farming community. After that, we will visit local market where most of the local produce can be found. Check in the hotel.

Day 07: Cameron Highlands/Penang (Drive)

This morning we head for Kuala Kangsar - The Royal Town of Perak, Malaysia, located at the downstream of Kuala Kangsar River, where it flows into the Perak River. It is the main town in the administrative district of Kuala Kangsar. We make a brief visit to see the gilded dome of Ubudiah Mosque, the impressive Iskandariah Palace, Istana Kenangan and driving pass to the oldest rubber trees in Peninsula. The highlights are Sayong Pottery Village where you can witness the making of Tekat, Labu Sayong and Keris.
Continue on to Kuala Sepetang, which is a coastal town located in Perak, Malaysia.  Board a boat and explore the river with eagle watching and to visit a thriving fishing village. The river mouth community of Kuala Sangga is the highlight. It is a Chinese fishing community specializes in fish breeding in cages and cockles harvesting.
The Mangrove boardwalk is also one of the highlights and it is a good spot for bird lovers who like to catch a glimpse of the coastal migratory water birds and a portion of migrant forest birds during the migration. Apart from that, there is a charcoal factory located opposite the spectacular mangrove forest. It is a good chance for you to learn how and what are needed to make charcoal. Every single process in a charcoal factory is manually done by human power. Thereafter continues transfer to Penang.

Day 08: Penang

Georgetown is always abuzz with a hive of activities, heightened by vehicles, pedestrians and roadside peddlers taking their respective places on the tight roads. See almost extinct trades and crafts, pre-war homes which have been restored for heritage’s sake. Experience the harmony between races and the intermingling of cultures. The highlights of this tour include Botanical Gardens, which offers lush green surroundings with a wide variety of tropical plants and bird life. Weld Quay (Chew Jetty), Khoo Kong Si, Little India (Mahamariamman Temple), Kek Lok Si.  Continue the experience travelling through the bustling Georgetown on a 3-wheeled (trishaw), pedal powered open air that takes you to Fort Cornwallis. Day 09: Penang/Bangkok (Flight) (THAILAND)

Check out and transfer to the airport for a flight to Bangkok.  Meet & transfer to the hotel.  Check in time starts from 1500 hrs.  The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 10: Bangkok

Today’s tour includes a visit of the Grand Palace complex and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha where varied styles of Thai architecture are delicately woven together to enchant the viewer, see also the Coronation Hall.  Afterwards visit the world famous temple is located right next to the Grand Palace, on the south side.  It is one of Bangkok’s oldest and largest temples.  Wat Po was built by King Rama 1 nearly 200 years ago and houses the gigantic gold-plated Reclining Buddha.  This unique image is 46 meters in length and 15 meters high with beautifully inlaid mother-of-pearl soles. Then return to hotel.  Afternoon will be at leisure to explore on your own. (B)

Day 11: Bangkok

Bangkok is probably one of the world's greatest shopping areas and today we will have plenty of time for bargain hunting on your own. (B)

Day 12: Depart Bangkok

After an interesting overland journey through these three beautiful countries, we bid farewell as we are transferred to the airport for our departure flight.  Check out time is by 1100 hrs. (B)
