Day 01: Arrive Prague (CZECHIA)

Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight: Hotel Taurus, Prague (2 nights)

Day 02: Prague

Discover the city, once the Capital of the Holy Roman Empire, such as magnificent library the Strahov Monastery and the Church of Our Lady of Loreto built during thirty year wars, and the Czernin Palace, nowadays Ministry of Foreign affairs. Continue to Hradcany Square, famous for its Baroque and Renaissance palaces, and the Door of the Giants, by which we will enter the Prague Castle, the largest fortified complex in the world.  We can admire the impressive St. Vitus Cathedral, site of coronations. There is time for optional visit to the Golden Lane, world famous for hosting the alchemists of the time Rudolf II and Franz Kafka. We then continue to the lower town, called Mala Strana, by taking the royal path.  Nerudova Street will lead us to the St. Nicolas Church, a baroque architectural gem of central Europe. After lunch, we continue to reach Charles Bridge. Passing by the Gothic Tower, we arrive at Old Town square and the Astronomical Clock.  Discover the Jewish District housing the oldest synagogue in Europe called Old New Synagogue.  Optional visit the Jewish Cemetery where Rabbi Lowe, who according to legend, breathed life of the Golem.  Afterwards we take the Celetna Street to the Powder Tower and Municipal House. Day 03: Prague/Holasovice/Cesky Krumlov/Ceske Budejovice (Drive)

After breakfast, depart to the picturesque village of Holasovice, a UNESCO site for its architectural ensemble called Rural Baroque. We stop for photos then continue to another UNESCO site of Cesky Krumlov, a beautiful medieval town dominated by the castle’s multicolored dungeon.  The panorama of the tiered town on a rocky peak offers many viewpoints. Continue to the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice for a tour of its historic center.  Check in hotel.

Day 04: Ceske Budejovice/Telc/Trebic/Vienna (Drive) (AUSTRIA)

Depart for Vienna, passing through the towns of Telc and Trebic, both declared World Heritage by UNESCO. After a lunch break we continue to the imperial capital of Austria.   Take a panoramic tour through the famous Ring Strasse. This lavish boulevard is bordered by the most important monuments of the city such as the Opera House, City Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts.  A walking tour of the historic center of Vienna and discover the St. Stephen’s Basilica, built in the thirteenth century in Romanesque style and redesigned in the gothic style.  Check in hotel.

Day 05: Vienna

Free time in Vienna to explore this beautiful city on our own.  Recommended optional visits are Belvedere Palace and museum or Schoenbrunn Palace. (B, D)

Day 06: Vienna/Bratislava (Drive) (SLOVAKIA)/Budapest (Drive) (HUNGARY)

Depart for Bratislava for a walking tour of the current Slovak capital, and an old capital of the Hungarian Kingdom during the Ottoman wars. After a lunch break we continue to Budapest. Upon arrival, a city tour to discover Buda quarter with Royal Castle. Buda district is a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.   Passing by Saint- Mathias Church, in neo-gothic style where Hungarian rulers received the crown of St. Stephen.  Then explore the outer of the Fisherman bastion, a complex of Romanesque ramparts and turrets with stunning city views. Continue through Pest quarter and have an outside viewing of the famous Parliament, inspired in part by the Parliament in London, neo-gothic cathedral-style; the majestic façade extends 268 m along the banks of the Danube and with 96m dome is visible from almost all parts of the city. Passing by the elegant Andrassy Avenue flanked by magnificent villas and mansions we arrive at Heroes Square, the largest in the capital, adorned with statues of the founders of Hungary.

Day 07: Budapest

Free time in Budapest. This a great chance to enjoy the optional thermal baths. (B, L)

Day 08: Depart Budapest

Check out time is by 1100 hrs. Transfer to Budapest airport for the flight out. (B)
