Discover three of the most radiant countries in Central Europe on a journey that explores Budapest, Bratislava, Brno, Karlovy Vary and Prague and travel through the beautiful countryside between them.

BC Seniors Our journey starts in scenic Budapest, where we enjoy a welcome dinner on board a Danube cruise. We explore Hungary’s capital, visiting the Castle District, the famous Central Market Hall, Heroes’ Square and the famous Szechenyi Spa, the largest medicinal bath in Europe. We then head to Bratislava, the enchanting capital of Slovakia, featuring charming squares, courtyards and narrow lanes in its Old Town. We also explore the beautiful Moravian city of Brno, followed by a delicious wine tasting.

Our tour also includes am excursion to the elegant spa town of Karlovy Vary, famous for its curative waters and beautiful crystal. Our journey ends in Prague, probably one of Europe’s most romantic cities. The capital of the Czechia (Czech Republic) is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Among the highlights of our tour we explore the Old Town Square with its famous Astronomical Clock, Europe’s largest Jewish cemetery, the medieval Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. This journey includes round trip airfare from Vancouver, BC.

Day 01: May 01, 2017: Vancouver/Budapest

Our exciting tour begins. We take off from YVR International Airport for our flight to Budapest.

Day 02: May 02, 2017: Arrival Budapest (HUNGARY)

Arrival Budapest. We are welcomed and transferred to our hotel. Balance of the day is free. Budapest is an enchanting city full of surprises with lively parks, majestic river, tall church spires and friendly people no to forget its thermal baths and spas. We stay in the heart of the city where the action is.
Overnight: Mercure Budapest Korona (3 nights)

Day 03: May 03, 2017: Budapest

An exciting day ahead! After breakfast, guided half day coach tour of Budapest. Explore the highlights of a thousand years of Hungarian history including the Castle District, views from Gellért Hill, the famous Central Market Hall and Heroes’ Square. Free time for lunch before we visit the famous Szechenyi Spa - the largest medicinal bath in Europe. Its water is supplied by two thermal springs. Evening, enjoy a welcome dinner cruise on the Danube River with a 3-course dinner with traditional Hungarian dishes and treats enjoying local music Have a front row seat admiring the UNESCO World Heritage Budapest. Return to our hotel. (B, D)

Day 04: May 04, 2017: Budapest

Breakfast in the hotel. Day free. Budapest’s Fashion Street is well known for the best bargain and latest in you know what. (B)


Day 05: May 05, 2017: Budapest/Bratislava (Drive) (SLOVAKIA)

After breakfast a scenic 3 hours drive to Bratislava, the enchanting capital of Slovakia. Afternoon we take a guided walking tour of the charming squares, courtyards and narrow lanes of the Old Town visiting also St. Michael’s Gate, Franciscan church, St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Opera House, etc. We stay in great comfort within walking distance of the Old Town.

Day 06: May 06, 2017: Bratislava

After breakfast a guided coach tour visiting the famous Devin’s Castle which witnessed the glory and fall of the Great Moravian Empire and was subsequently blown up by Napoleon’s army. Now a national cultural monument. Situated on a high cliff over the Morava and Danube rivers, and standing on the frontier between Slovakia and Austria, it offers beautiful panoramic views and is a very popular and a must place to visit. After our morning visit we have the afternoon free at leisure. Enjoy walking on the banks of the Danube or through the maze of the historic city center known for its shopping and wide variety of cuisines. (B)

Day 07: May 07, 2017: Bratislava/Brno/Prague (Drive) (CZECHIA)

A leisurely drive gets us to the beautiful Moravian city of Brno. Brno is famous for its architecture, interesting buildings, relaxing atmosphere, beautiful countryside and winery. We take a drive through tour of Brno followed by wine tasting the Moravian way – actually, it will be not one but five wines! Next, we enjoy a typical 3 course lunch of delicious local cuisine. Next stop - “Zlata Praha” – Golden Prague!

Day 08: May 08, 2017: Prague

After breakfast a full day guided tour to include the 9th Century majestic Prague Castle followed by the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Old Town Square. Here we will also see the famous astronomical clock. Free time for lunch at the Old Town Square before we go for yet another exciting activity – this time it is a unique experience of a classic Czechia (Czech Republic) treatment. The spa liquid comprises of beer, natural ingredients, materials and old medical procedures. Exclusive 2 hours use of the beer spa. Merge yourself in barley and hops with a glass of Bernard Bohemian Ale. Evening free to enjoy the night life of Prague. (B)

Day 09: May 09, 2017: Prague/Karlovy Vary/Prague

An unforgettable day sampling the delights of the world-famous historical town of Karlovy Vary. Admire the Bohemian landscapes as we travel by coach from Prague to Karlovy Vary often referred to by the German name of Karlsbad or Carlsbad. Visit the Moser glass Museum and factory, where beautiful crystal ware is made. Admire the elegant spa colonnades and fountains, and sample some of the reputedly curative waters, light spa wafers and some of Karlovy’s legendary herbal liqueur. After a very interesting day we drive back to Prague. Day 10: May 10, 2017: Prague

Breakfast in the hotel. Day free for shopping. You may also try the hop-on-hop off bus ride. Evening, we are entertained at a local restaurant with a folklore show and dinner to include a 3-course Czechia (Czech Republic) cuisine with unlimited drinks coupled with live dance & music. (B, D)

Day 11: May 11, 2017: Depart Prague

All good things come to an end. After a wonderful trip we are transferred to the airport for our flight back home. (B)
