DAY 2 DELHI Our exploration of Delhi
includes the famous Red Fort complex*,
named for its massive walls of red sandstone. An exciting morning game safari before

DAY 3 DELHI • AGRA (Drive) Explore
New Delhi, visiting Birla House, India Gate,
Humayun's Tomb* and Qutub Minar* before
continuing to Agra. Overnight: Trident /

DAY 4 AGRA A stunning sunrise visit to
the Taj Mahal* allows us to see the morning
light reflect off this immense marble
mausoleum, built between 1631 and 1648 by
the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory
of his favourite wife. Next visit Agra Fort*.
This powerful fortress of red sandstone
encompasses the imperial city of the Mughal

rulers. Later visit Fatehpur Sikri* and the
Salim Chisty mausoleum. (B, D)
IMPORTANT NOTE: On nights with a Full
Moon, the Taj Mahal's pure white marble
shimmers silver in the moonlight and the site
is open to visitors. When available, we can
arrange an optional tour to enjoy this very
special occasion.
DAY 5 AGRA • RANTHAMBORE (Drive)
Explore Rajasthan on our way to
Ranthambore. Afternoon we board our safari

DAY 6 RANTHAMBORE • JAIPUR (Drive)
embarking on a scenic drive to Jaipur, the
rose pink capital of Rajasthan, named for its
buildings made of pink sandstone. In the
evening, enjoy a Rajasthan Cultural Dance
performance with dinner.

DAY 7 JAIPUR Sample the hilltop views
at Amber Palace*, followed by visits to
the Palace of Winds, the Jantar Mantar*
astronomical observatory, the Royal Palace
and the colourful bazaar. (B, D)
DAY 8 JAIPUR • PUSHKAR (Drive)
Explore the enchanting pilgrimage town of
Pushkar. Here we visit the historical Lord
Brahma Temple and the bathing Ghats
around its holy lake. Evening is free to shop
in the local bazaar. Overnight: The Green

DAY 9 PUSHKAR • UDAIPUR (Drive)
After breakfast, embark on a journey through
the villages of rural Rajasthan to Udaipur.
Evening free.

DAY 10 UDAIPUR Visit the City Palace,
Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake and
Saheliyon Ki Bari (The Garden of Maids).
Then take a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola,
visiting the Jagmandir Gardens and admiring
the views of the city and the famous Lake
Palace in the middle of the lake. (B, D)
Journey to Jodhpur, followed by visits to
Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada.

DAY 12 JODHPUR • JAISALMER (Drive)
Explore the scenic Thar Desert on our way to
Jaisalmer. Rest of the day is free.

DAY 13 JAISALMER Morning tour of the
Jaisalmer Fort*, the 2nd century Jain Temples,
Gadisar Tank, the Folk Museum and Patwan
Ki Haveli. Then embark on a camel safari with
a spectacular desert sunset. (B, D)
DAY 14 JAISALMER • BIKANER (Drive)
Continue to the charming desert town of
Bikaner, where we visit massive Junagadh
Fort, Lalgarh Palace and a fascinating camel
breeding farm set in the sand dunes.

DAY 15 JAISALMER • MANDAWA •
ALSISAR (Drive) After breakfast, travel to
Deshnoke and visit the famous Rat temple
