Day 01: Arrive Dubrovnik (CROATIA)
We will be transferred from Dubrovnik’s airport or our hotel in Dubrovnik to Gruz Harbor, where embarkation begins at noon. We meet our fellow travelers and our Cruise Manager later at an on-board Welcome Reception. This evening, we can choose to relax or to take a walk-through Dubrovnik’s vibrant streets.

Day 02: Dubrovnik/Mljet (Cruise)
We start the day with a walking tour of Dubrovnik*, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. We will visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery’s Pharmacy before returning to the ship for lunch and set sail for Mljet Island. Mljet National Park features five types of forest, many species of birds, and two deep lakes, Veliko Jezero (Big Lake) and Malo Jezero (Small Lake). Evening at leisure. (B, L)
Day 03: Mljet/Korcula (Cruise)
After a morning enjoying the spectacular scenery, we sail to the island of Korcula, believed to be the birthplace of explorer Marco Polo. We take a walking tour through the narrow, cobbled streets of the town of Korcula, including a visit to the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. (B, L)
Day 04: Korcula/Vela Luka (Cruise)
This morning we sail along the beautiful island of Korcula and have time for swimming. After our lunch onboard, we disembark in Vela Luka and depart for an afternoon tour of Korcula, featuring a visit of an olive oil factory, the Barilo ethno museum and a local winery to taste some local wine and cheese. We return to our ship, for an evening at leisure. (B, L)
Day 05: Vela Luka/Vis (Cruise)
We cruise towards Vis island. The town of Vis, the antique Issa, was founded around 397 B.C. Our tour of Vis features the town’s waterfront. Evening at leisure. (B, L)
Day 06: Vis/Hvar/Stari Grad (Cruise)
We continue our cruise towards Hvar, one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jet-set. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. We enjoy a sightseeing tour of the town of Hvar, visiting the first public theatre in Europe, the Franciscan Monastery and a number of other historical sights. We sail on to Stari Grad for the night. Tonight, we will enjoy a Captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Stari Grad/Bol/Split (Cruise)
We sail to Bol, home of one of the best beaches in Croatia, the Golden Horn. This vast, golden pebble beach is quite unique, as it changes shape and position depending on the direction of the winds. During our lunch, we sail to Split. Upon arrival we explore the Historical Complex of Split with the Palace of Diocletian*. The ruins of Diocletian's Palace, built between the late 3rd and the early 4th centuries A.D., can be found throughout the city. The cathedral was built in the Middle Ages, reusing materials from the ancient mausoleum. Twelfth- and 13th-century Romanesque churches, medieval fortifications, 15th-century Gothic palaces and other palaces in Renaissance and Baroque style make up the rest of the protected area. We enjoy a free evening in Split. (B, L)
Day 08: Split/Plitvice Lakes/Opatija (Drive)
We disembark after breakfast, bidding farewell to our crew. Then we journey north to visit the Plitvice Lakes National Park*. The waters flowing over the limestone and chalk have, over thousands of years, deposited travertine barriers, creating natural dams which in turn have created a series of beautiful lakes, caves and waterfalls. We enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder with its 16 terraced lakes surrounded by wooded mountains and lush vegetation. We then continue to Opatija, where we check in to our hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 09: Opatija/Pula/Rovinj/Opatija
Today we head to Pula, strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. We take an orientation tour, visiting the Amphitheater, the sixth largest of its kind to be preserved in the world today. We Continue on to the beautiful resort town of Rovinj. There’s free time to explore the old town and its narrow lanes before we return to Opatija. (B)
Day 10: Opatija/Postojna (SLOVENIA)/Venice (Drive) (ITALY)
After breakfast, we travel to Slovenia and visit the unique and beautiful Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe. We tour this fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. We the continue to Venice and its Lagoon. Founded in the 5th century and spread over 118 small islands, Venice became a major maritime power in the 10th century. The whole city is an extraordinary architectural masterpiece in which even the smallest building contains works by some of the world's greatest artists such as Giorgione, Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese and others.

Day 11: Venice
We begin our exploration of Venice and its Lagoon* Venice with a boat ride to the Murano Island, famous for its artistic glassware, where we visit a glassblowing factory to watch a demonstration of traditional Venetian glassblowing by master craftsmen. We then visit St. Mark’s Square, St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace, and enjoy views of the Bell Tower and Bridge of Sighs. The balance of the day we are free to enjoy Venice on our own In the evening we will gather for a Farewell Dinner. (B, D)
Day 12: Depart Venice
After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for our departure flight. Check out time is by 1100 hrs. (B)
