On arrival at Larnaca Airport, we are welcomed and transferred to our hotel in Paphos. The drive takes approximately 90 minutes, offering a first glimpse of the island’s gentle coastal scenery. After checking in, the remainder of the day is at leisure to settle in and unwind. This evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel and an introduction to the journey ahead.

After breakfast, begin a full-day tour celebrating the flavours and traditions of Cyprus. Visit Anogyra Village to take part in a hands-on pasteli workshop, learning how this traditional sweet is made from carob syrup. Continue to Oleastro Olive Park for an insight into olive-oil production and a tasting. Travel to Omodos for a traditional village lunch. Conclude the day at Petra tou Romiou, the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love, with time to enjoy its dramatic coastal views before returning to Paphos. (B, L)

Begin at the Agia Paraskevi Byzantine Church in Geroskipou, a remarkable 9th-century basilica known for its domed roof and historic frescoes. Visit a local loukoumia workshop to see how this well-loved Cypriot sweet is made. Continue to St Neophytos Monastery, set in the hills above Paphos, and enjoy its peaceful surroundings. In Paphos Old Town, explore the historic Ottoman Baths and finish with a stroll along the street-art wall, where heritage blends with contemporary creativity. (B, D)

Enjoy a full day at leisure in Paphos. Relax by the sea, explore the harbour, visit local cafés, or browse artisanal shops at your own pace. With its coastal paths, vibrant old town and easy access to the waterfront, Paphos offers a perfect blend of culture and relaxation. (B)

Today we journey into the Troodos Mountains to visit Kykkos Monastery, founded in the 12th century and renowned for its Byzantine icons, gilded mosaics and mountain setting. Explore the monastery grounds and museum before continuing to the village of Pedoulas for an optional traditional lunch. Later, visit Omodos Village for a wine tasting and a stop at the Timios Stavros Monastery, a UNESCO-listed site noted for its religious significance and historic architecture. Conclude with a visit to local bakeries to sample traditional Cypriot bread before returning to Paphos. (B, D)

Cross into Northern Cyprus to explore the ancient city of Salamis, founded around 1100 BC. Highlights include its vast ancient theatre—once seating up to 15,000 spectators—well-preserved Roman baths with mosaics, and the impressive gymnasium lined with marble columns. Continue to Famagusta for an optional Cypriot-Turkish lunch before visiting Varosha, the once-thriving resort town abandoned in 1974 and now partially reopened for guided walks. Wander through its quiet streets and see the empty hotels frozen in time. The walled city of Famagusta is a candidate for UNESCO World Heritage status. Return to Paphos in the Greek part pf Cyprus along scenic coastal and rural routes. (B)

Spend the day at leisure in Paphos, embracing its gentle coastal rhythm or exploring on your own. For those interested, a visit to the Tombs of the Kings offers a striking window into Cyprus’s history, with its remarkable rock-cut chambers forming part of the Paphos UNESCO World Heritage Site. (B)
