During our explorations of the region, we can look forward to seeing a magnificent variety of animals. When it’s at its fullest, the delta is actually home to the highest concentration of animals in Africa!

(Rooms with en suite bathrooms, swimming pool, bar and restaurant)

Day 03: Okavango Delta

Following our morning meal, we spend the day exploring the region’s unique network of water pathways and verdant plant life by mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe. During our journey, we may spot many different bird species, as this is a birdwatcher’s haven. We will also have the opportunity to stop at a secluded island to take a 1.5 hour guided walk, hoping to spot elephants feeding from the lush vegetation or large herds of red lechwe springing through the shallows. Optional helicopter flights for breathtaking views of the delta and its wildlife are also available at our camp. Contacting Bestway to prebook is recommended. (B, L, D)

Day 04: Okavango Delta/Greater Moremi Area (Drive)

This morning, we travel back via Maun to our next destination, a camp situated in a private concession in the Greater Moremi area. This region is another gateway to the splendour that is the Okavango Delta region. With our position in a private concession, animals such as elephant, impala, kudu and lion are right at our doorstep. The wildlife here is rich and varied, including exceptional birdlife! Throughout the year, in order to adjust to the season, extra driving may be required to offer the best game viewing possible.

Overnight: Bedouin Bush Camp, Greater Moremi (3 nights) (B, L, D)
(Semi-permanent tented camp with en suite bathrooms – Set in a private concession close to the famous Moremi Game Reserve, Bedouin Bush Camp offers a secluded African bush experience. The camp is solar powered, and cameras and cellphones can be charged in communal areas if power levels allow it).

Day 05: Greater Moremi Area

Discover the wildlife-rich Moremi region as we spend the day on morning and afternoon game drives, spotting a variety of animals. We’ll try to spy nocturnal animals like aardwolves and servals, hardly noticeable during the day but at their prime at night. (B, L, D)

Day 06: Greater Moremi Game Reserve (Drive)

A highlight of the tour ahead as we spend a full day in the famous Moremi Game Reserve, a part of the Okavango Delta and offering one of the richest ecosystems in Africa. We soak in the untouched nature and teeming animal life for the entire day before returning to our camp. (B, L, D)

Leaving the bush behind, we travel towards Makgadikgadi Pans. Once a huge lake, the pans are now a vast, flat landscape of salt and mud. The ethereal views here truly make you feel like you’re on another planet!
