Day 02: Jeddah

Jeddah Island Mosque, Saudi Arabia

After breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on a morning visit to Jeddah's UNESCO World Heritage Site, exploring the historical houses of Hijaz Construction, including Nasif House, Matbouli House, Alawi Souq, and the Fish Market. These buildings, constructed from coral and reinforced with wood, feature distinctive elements such as crisscrossed interior beams, wooden balconies, and intricately carved doors and windows. The Nasif House, built in the 1850s by the influential Nasif family, is particularly significant as it was the residence where King Abdul Aziz spent his first night in Jeddah after his army's victory. It was converted into a museum in 1964, recognizing its cultural and architectural importance. In the afternoon, we will explore the Corniche Area, visiting landmarks such as the Floating Mosque and King Fahd Fountain. The Corniche, stretching over 80 kilometers along the Red Sea, is a major attraction and a refreshing spot for both locals and visitors. (B)

Day 03: Jeddah/Madinah/Al Ula (Train/Drive)

Nabawi Mosque, Medina, Saudi Arabia

After breakfast at a local restaurant, we will transfer to Sulaymaniyah Train Station to board the Fast Train to Madinah. Madinah is home to the iconic Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet's Mosque), one of the holiest sites in Islam. The Green Dome, located within the mosque, marks the tombs of Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, and Umar. Additionally, Masjid al-Qiblatain holds historical significance as the place where the Prophet Muhammad received the command to change the direction of prayer toward Mecca. Upon arrival, we will visit the Holy Mosque, local museums, and the historic Jabal Uhud. Then, we will drive to Al Ula (385 kilometers), making stops at several Hejaz Railway stations along the way. Upon arrival in Al Ula, we will transfer to our accommodation for the night.

Overnight: Accommodation in Al Ula (2 nights) (B)

Day 04: Al Ula/Madain Saleh/Al Ula (Drive)

Wadi Al Ula, the jewel of Saudi Arabia, is the gateway to Madain Saleh, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its ancient ruins. Here we find 2,000-year-old mud houses and tombs, remains of a thriving oasis city and crucial trade stop between the 6th century BC and the 1st century AD. After breakfast, we visit the ancient Dadan and Jabal Ikmah sites, followed by a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hegra in the afternoon, where we explore the Nabatean Well, Qasr Al Bint, Diwan, and Al Farid Palace. Qasr Bint translates to “Palace of Daughters” and stands as the largest tomb at the Madain Saleh sites, towering about 16 meters above ground level. In the evening, we head to stunning Elephant Rock and the highest point of Al Ula to enjoy the sunset. (B)

Day 05: Al Ula/Jubbah/Hail (Drive) /Riyadh (Flight)

After breakfast, we drive to Jubbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient rock carvings, including camel figures believed to be around 4,000 years old. After exploring the Jubbah Rock Carvings, we continue our journey to Hail, where we visit the Qishla and Oraif Fortresses. The Qishla Fortress, built in the 1940s during the reign of Prince Abdul-Aziz bin Musa’ad Al Saudi, is a two-story mud palace featuring watchtowers and main gates, reflecting the region's historical significance. Following the visit, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Riyadh. Upon arrival in Riyadh, we are transferred to our hotel for our overnight stay.

Overnight: Hotel in Riyadh (2 nights) (B)

Day 06: Riyadh

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Begin our day with breakfast before visiting the iconic Masmak Fort, a key historical monument in Riyadh. Although the fort is currently closed for maintenance, we can still explore its exterior and nearby sites such as Dira Souq, known for its variety of traditional copper, brass, and silver items. Continue to the King Abdulaziz Historical Center (National Museum), a hub of Saudi culture and heritage that narrates the history of Arabia from the creation of the universe to modern times. Enjoy a panoramic view of Riyadh from the Kingdom Tower and its Sky Bridge, followed by some shopping in the Kingdom Center. Later, visit the UNESCO-listed historical Diriyah, the birthplace of the Saudi Dynasty. Diriyah, in the Wadi Hanifa valley, holds deep historical significance as the site where the Al-Saud family first established their rule. End your day with a visit to Bujairi Terrace, offering a premium dining experience with stunning views over At-Turaif.
