Day 03: Victoria Falls/Caprivi (Drive) (NAMIBIA)

After breakfast, we head across the Kazungula border into Namibia, driving through the Caprivi Strip to our camp situated on the banks of the Kwando River. The area is lush and water-rich compared to the rest of Namibia, drawing abundant wildlife and villagers sustained by the large rivers and wetlands. A unique adventure today as we explore the Okavango’s network of water pathways through thick vegetation in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes), discovering a variety of birds and wildlife. We have the opportunity to stop at a secluded island and take a 1.5 hour guided walk to spot elephant, waterbuck and other animals living in this water-filled paradise. We will also have the chance to take an optional scenic helicopter flight for breathtaking views of the delta and its wildlife. Please contact Bestway Tours & Safaris to pre-book. (B, L, D)

Day 06: Okavango Delta/Khwai River (Drive)

After breakfast, we head south, travelling via Maun to our camp situated in a private concession in the Khwai River region. With the recent re-introduction of the black and white rhino, Moremi is a Big Five game-viewing destination that also offers the chance to see more than 400 species of bird. (B, L, D)

Day 09: Khwai River/Nata (Drive)

Leaving the bush behind us, we travel east towards the Makgadikgadi Pans, once a large river fed lake which has now become saline and empty. This area incorporates a multitude of salt pans and vast grass plains dotted by palm islands. Together, these form the Great Makgadikgadi, which is the largest area of salt pans in the world, covering some 37,000 square kilometers. We arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon with free time to relax for the remainder of the day.
Overnight: Nata Lodge, Nata (1 night) (B, L)
(Permanent safari tents with en suite bathrooms, swimming pool and bar)

Day 10: Nata/Chobe National Park (Drive)

After breakfast, we continue our journey North to Kasane, the gateway to Chobe National Park. Chobe, which is the second largest national park in Botswana, covers 10,566 square kilometers.
