Day 01: Arrive Nairobi (KENYA)
KARIBU – Swahili for welcome! Upon completing immigration and customs at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), our team member will meet you at the designated gate, holding a personalized welcome sign. You will be transferred to Boma Hotel. Hotel rooms available from 1400hrs giving us sufficient time to rest, relax and change before joining the other participants for dinner and a get to know.

Day 02: Nairobi/Masai Mara (Drive 280kms/174miles)
After breakfast, at 0800AM we embark on an exciting safari adventure. We begin with a morning game drive at the Nairobi National Park, followed by a visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage. Named after David William Sheldrick's wife, the orphanage hosts baby animals from the national park for a mud-bath experience. Enjoy hot lunch at Boma before heading to Masai Mara, known for its diverse landscapes. We stay at the Mara Eden Safari Camp to take advantage of its proximity to the migration and not to mention its own private entrance gate to the park.

Day 03: Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend the full day game viewing at Masai Mara National Reserve. an area of preserved savannah wilderness alongside the Kenya-Tanzanian border. It is home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of the Maasai people. We traverse from one area to another chasing wildlife and best viewing with many stops enroute. (B, L, D)
Day 04: Masai Mara/Lake Victoria (Drive 270kms/168miles) (TANZANIA)
Embark on a southbound safari towards the enchanting Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. Enjoy leisure time in the afternoon, perhaps taking a bird walk along the lake shore or exploring nearby villages. Cross into Tanzania where our Tanzanian team will welcome you and transfer you to Serenity on the Lake. Tanzania is best known for the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhino can all be spotted in Tanzania. They are residents of the incredible Serengeti and the unique Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area.

Day 05: Lake Victoria/Serengeti National Park (Drive 250kms/155miles)
This morning, participate in a boat excursion to a local fishing village before bidding farewell to Lake Victoria as we continue southwards to Serengeti National Park, passing through Sukuma tribe villages known for their agriculture and pastoralism traditions. Experience the vast central plains of Serengeti, characterized by undulating grass savannahs and rocky outcrops. Serengeti National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopard, 550 cheetahs and some 500bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 Sq. Kms. in size. It is also the hub of the migration hence we spend 3 nights here.

Day 06: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
Enjoy full day of game drives in Seronera, the central and accessible region of Serengeti National Park. This area is renowned for its open plains packed with wildlife, including opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards along the Seronera River. Between May and August, the migration slowly moves through the western corridor and into the Ikoma and Grumeti Wildlife Management Areas. These areas are outside of the Serengeti, but as there are no fences the wildlife can, and do, move around freely. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Serengeti National Park (Seronera)
Continue exploring Serengeti with game drives throughout the day, admiring the park's famous landscapes and abundant wildlife. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon. Serengeti is one park that is even popular during the wet season. It has very little obstruction and you can see as far as your vision can go to. Biologically researchers have found that Serengeti National Park still has the highest number of globally threatened animal species like Black Rhinos, Wild dogs, Cheetahs and Elephants. We hope to see some if not all of the species. (B, L, D)
Day 08: Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro/Karatu (Drive 400kms/249miles)
Embark early morning through the Southern Plains of Serengeti for a game drive en route to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Experience this wildlife spectacle, home to the 'Big 5' and a small population of endangered black rhinos. Ngorongoro is thought to have formed about 2.5 million years ago from a large active volcano whose cone collapsed inward after a major eruption, leaving the present vast, unbroken caldera as its chief remnant. Late afternoon, we arrive in Karatu for our overnight. Karatu is a popular safari junction with easy access to Lake Manyara and the Tarangire National Parks.

Day 09: Cultural Tour at Lake Manyara/Karatu
After breakfast, delve into the cultural diversity of Mto-wa-Mbu, visiting markets, a Chagga family producing banana beer, and local farms. Enjoy a home-cooked meal with a Mama and visit a Maasai Boma for a cultural encounter. Late afternoon, embark on a walking tour to Lake Papyrus to observe birdlife and hippos, with an optional trek to a waterfall and local village visit before returning to the lodge. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Manyara National Park/Tarangire National Park, Tarangire (Drive 130kms/81miles)
Today, we set off towards Lake Manyara National Park, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley's western escarpment. We enjoy a scenic drive through the park, known for its large flocks of flamingos and elusive tree-climbing lions. We continue on to Tarangire region. Tarangire National Park is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees.

Day 11: Tarangire National Park/Arusha (Drive 150kms/93miles)
Embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant population and baobab trees, known also as the “Tree Of Life”. Tarangire National Park derived its name from the Tarangire River which crosses through the park. We proceed to Arusha famous not only for the fact that is the exact centre between Cairo and Cape Town but also it is the gateway to the world’s most prestigious game parks.

Day 12: Arusha/Amboseli (KENYA) (Drive 210kms/130miles)
After a leisurely breakfast, we journey towards Amboseli National Reserve via the Kenya-Tanzania border, passing Marangu waterfalls. At the border check post at Namanga we get a new team of Kenyan safari experts who take over your exploration of the land they know best. We arrive at the incredible Amboseli in the afternoon. Here we have the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro – world’s tallest free-standing mountain.

Day 13: Amboseli National Park
Explore Amboseli National Park a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a full day of game viewing, famous for its large elephant herds with Mount Kilimanjaro as a backdrop. Amboseli is known for its huge elephant bulls with their magnificent tusks, which make for the ultimate safari picture with the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. (B, L, D)
Day 14: Amboseli National Park/Nairobi (Drive)
After breakfast, we drive westwards to Nairobi. Enjoy a picnic lunch before visiting the Giraffe Centre and Karen Blixen Museum, known for its association with the author of "Out of Africa". Optional visit to Kazuri Beads Centre for shopping. We conclude our extraordinary safari with a farewell dinner at the renowned “Carnivore Restaurant” where we have a taste of the array of cuisine of delicious meat and vegetarian specialities.
