Day 01: Arrive Kilimanjaro/Arusha
Jambo! We are cordially welcomed as we arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Karibu (welcome in Swahili) and your guide meets you at the pick-up point. During your transfer to your hotel, he will give insights to some facts of the land of Kilimanjaro – the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. Balance of the day is free. Arusha is the exact midpoint between Cairo and Cape Town and is also the gateway to the safari game parks of Northern Tanzania and some of the game parks in Kenya.
Overnight: Kahawa House/Four Points Sheraton, Arusha (1 night)
Day 02: Arusha/Lake Manyara/Ngorongoro (Karatu) (Drive)
After breakfast we travel by road from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park and start for a beautiful journey across the Masai land towards the Great Rift Valley. Arriving the enchanting Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive and taken in the breathtaking scenery and is famous for its Tree climbing Lion, Flamingos in the lake shore, the Ground Hornbill and the Crested Eagle. This small park is sandwiched between the Rift Valley escarpment and Lake Manyara. The permanent residents here also include Leopard, Giraffes, Elephants, Impalas and a huge number of Buffaloes. There is also a growing population of Baboons and Blue monkeys.

Day 03: Karatu/Serengeti National Park (Drive)
After breakfast travel by road from Karatu to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, where we will have an optional to visit the Gorge and the Museum. Visit Olduwai Gorge which has evidences of human species existing as far back as 1.9 million years. Optional visit to the small well-maintained Museum. Continue to Ndutu area where we enter Serengeti National Park via the Nabi Hill Gate. Continue with game drive toward to the Seronera central area within Serengeti National Park.
Overnight: Intowild Tented Camps or Serengeti Kati Kati Camp, 4* (B, L, D) (2 nights)
Day 04: Serengeti National Park
The incredible Serengeti National Park is a must-see for any African safari vacations. It is world renowned for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white bearded (or brindled) wildebeest and another 250,000 zebras. Serengeti is widely regarded as the best wildlife reserve in Africa due to its density of predators and prey. Early morning, experience an optional hot air balloon safari - Details found in our “Notes” section. The hot air balloon follows with a full day game drive through the park, stopping for either a picnic lunch or hot lunch. (B, L, D)
Day 05: Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater (Drive)
After breakfast we enjoy another day in the famous Serengeti, with morning and afternoon game drives and picnic lunch. Your safari guide will explore various areas Moro kopjes and Gol kopjes. The extensive grasslands are interspersed with Kopjes rocky outcrops like islands in the flat plain, each with their own wildlife communities. Midday drive to Nabi Hill gate where you will enjoy picnic lunch. Continue the game drive as we proceed towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Malanja Depression passing through various Masai Villages reaching Karatu.
Overnight: Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge Country Lodge 4* (B, L, D) (2 nights)
Day 06: Ngorongoro Crater
Following breakfast, we travel to Ngorongoro Crater for a 6-hour game safari. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, which is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20 kilometers across, 600 meters deep and 300 square kilometers in area, this crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. The rich pasture and permanent water of the crater floor supports a large resident population of wildlife, including up to 25,000 predominantly grazing animals such as wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, eland, kongoni and warthogs. After the safari, we have an optional visit to a Masai village to meet folks belonging to this famous warrior tribe before proceeding to Lake Manyara for our overnight stay. (B, L, D)
Day 07: Ngorongoro/Arusha (Drive) – Optional Zanzibar (Flight)
After breakfast, we bid farewell to the best game parks in the world and drive via the Great Rift valley to Arusha. Stops enroute for last minute opportunity to appreciate the local craft and shop for souvenirs at the African villages of Mto wa Mbu and Makuyuni. At around midday, we arrive Arusha and are transferred to the airport. Do note that your departure flight from Arusha should not be before 6PM. An incredible opportunity to end the safari with an optional cultural experience of the Indian Ocean Island of Zanzibar. (B, L)
